- My bike is not easy to find parts for and was not originally produced with high-quality. I wish I'd created a chassis completely from scratch or started with a well-known make/model from within the last 5 or 10 years.
- My batteries are hard-wired directly to other components, which makes battery maintenance/assembly, though rare, quite a pain and a bit dangerous. I wish I had a single, large terminal for connecting the entire battery pack and all wires that go to it. This means Battery main positive and negative, PakTrakr wires, and charging wires. If that's impractical, one terminal for each of the three circuits, so to speak, would be a good compromise.
- Not everything was clearly labeled during my build. Only years later am I finally giving each wire and component a laminated label to make identification and maintenance easy.
